Step 1: Open the Telegram app on your mobile, access a private conversation or group, then tap the name displayed in the top corner. For this example, we are going to use a group.

step 2: on the next tab, click exactly on top of where it says “Notifications”.

step 3: In the pop-up that opens, select “Custom”.

step 4: Check the “Enable Custom Notifications” option.

step 5: then choose a custom sound or vibration type for the contact and even put it as high priority.

step 6: finally, choose the LED color of the notifications (if your cell phone has this function) and if you want them to also appear as a pop-up.

Ready! You can now customize notifications for each contact or group in your list individually on Telegram.
