Google Image is the most popular reverse image search tool on the internet right now. It allows you to search by image online, however, you can use the service only on Google Image’s web version only. If you want to use it on a mobile phone, you can use the ‘Desktop Site’ option on your phone.
To perform a reverse image search on Google:
1. Visit Google Images and tap on the camera icon in the search field.
2. You get three options- upload the image directly, paste a URL to the image, or drag and drop the image directly to the search window.
3. Once the search is initiated, Google looks up in its database and shows the results.
You can also perform a Google image search via Chrome browser also if the image that you are looking for is uploaded on a website. Here’s how:
Just visit the website on which the image is uploaded. On that image, right-click and select “Search Google for Image”.
That’s it. Google will then look up the image in its database. The results will be similar to that of Google Images.

2. Yandex
Yandex is a Russia-based image search engine that also lets you search by image. Like Google, Yandex also has a huge database of images, and thus it offers the best possible results for your image search queries. The UI is very clean and simple and you can either upload an image or paste a link to the image in the search field.
Yandex also does not require you to sign up on it in order to use it and it is a completely free service. Here’s how you can use this search engine:
1. Visit Yandex Images.
2. Now, click on the camera icon next to the search field.
3. It will show you three options for searching by an image- using image URL, drag and drop, or selecting a file from your computer.
Once you select the file and upload it, then click on the Search button and it will show up the results.
3. CamFind App
CamFind is a mobile search engine that allows you to search for any image or other things on your smartphone just by clicking a picture. It offers the best possible search results, related or similar images and videos, shopping links, and price comparisons. You also get options for social sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

Google introduced the Lens feature for its Pixel phones initially. The company later integrated the feature in its Photos app for iOS users. 1. Open Google Photos app on your phone.
2. Now, go to the photo that you want to reverse search.
3. Tap on the Google Lens icon at the bottom and then select the image or a specific area in the image.
