Recap of CU101 AMA Session with Altostream

On the 16th of February, 2022 at 17:00 UTC, Crypto Updates 101 had an exciting Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session on their Telegram page with Joshua (Growth Lead) from Altostream.

The session was divided into two segments. Introductions were made in Segment 1, and questions from the CU101 community were answered in Segment 2.

Could you start by introducing yourself and the team behind Altostream to us?

What background did the team members have before Altostream?

[Joshua]

We’re a team of motivated individuals building a great product in the blockchain music industry and changing the formal mode of streaming songs to a system whereby you earn money in form of ALTO token streaming songs on Altostream

As a team we came from different industries to build a great product, we have members who are experienced in music, blockchain engineering, marketing, and the like.

Can you give an overview of Altostream as a whole? And how do you plan to make a change in the Cryptoverse?

Altostream is a blockchain-powered music platform that enables you to make money by tokenizing listening.

Also beyond the streaming feature, we have an Alto Wallet that enables you to send and receive tokens using your claimed “user tag”

We’re causing a change in the Cryptoverse with a feature that enables you to send and receive your crypto asset faster than using your address.

We also have a system that tokenizes music and makes it an NFT which is very good. And also in the music industry, we have an organic curation system, which eliminates the use of algorithms to determine which artist is famous and who’s song should do well.

Do you have any partnerships lined up? If yes, what are they?

Yes we have, currently, we’re partners with

How important would you deem your community? How crucial are they in the success of Altostream?

The Altostream community is very important to our growth and for us to scale new heights we need their maximum support.

Right now we’ve smashed our milestone for Q1 and Q2 which is to onboard over 20k listeners and right now we’re having our airdrop is currently live and in the next few days, we will be starting our PRESALE.

Hello, I have two questions

1.) I’m interested in the financial aspect of this project and I couldn’t find a white paper or litepaper on your website, I would like to know about your tokenomics (how they are allocated, the supply, if you have any plans of burning and all that).

2.) Since the listeners interact and pay directly to the creators, how does the team make money? And what is the assurance that they won’t dump on us after we’ve participated in their sales? (If they have a large allocation)

The advantage Altostream has over other music platforms is the feature that makes it possible for listeners to make money while listening to their favorite songs on Altsostream and the organic curation system makes it possible for any song on Altostream to make it to the top

I’ve followed $ALTO right from infant, I am still not convinced on why I should invest, looking at how projects have failed on we the community lately, notwithstanding “what value does $ALTO have? since it is more of a music platform kinda project, what is the reward of holders and the artist? do you plan a staking mechanism or even thinking of digitizing an artist’s work inform of NFTs because that’s what is in vogue?

ALTO token is what we used to reward both artists and Listeners. And also artists can get their music promoted using ALTO tokens.

This means the more artiste we have the more ALTO token is put into use and the more the Value increases

Many projects initially developed well but were suddenly abandoned, how will you manage your project to get your

position in the market to be among the best blockchain projects in the world?

The first step we took in doing this is by getting the product ready and making it user-friendly.

And also we are creating opportunities for both artists and listeners with an irresistible offer to make both parties earn from their actions using our platform.

Right now, we are in partnership with Avalanche, Conflux, Brindocorp, Universal API, Dappy, and Sinzu to bring Altostream to the position it belongs to.
