With the latest update which brings group video calls to Telegram, there are some other new features also came along including animated backgrounds, emojis, stickers, and more. Use Telegram Animated Chat Backgrounds
This is a feature that is not even available on WhatsApp yet. So you can enable animated chat backgrounds on Telegram which keep changing with every message. 1. Open the Telegram app on your phone and then tap on three horizontal lines on the left side.
2. Select Settings and then tap on Chat Settings.
3. Here, swipe down and tap on Change chat background.
4. Now you will see a list of backgrounds and you can select any one of them and then tap on Motion so it will be animated.
This is how you can change and use animated chat background on Telegram. Moreover, you can also create your own custom chat background by picking the colors and other themes and also choose an image from your gallery as well.
New Animated Emojis
This update also brings animated emojis to Telegram. Sending animated emojis is very simple and all you need to do is simply send a message with a single emoji.
When you will send an emoji in a chat, it will turn out to be an animated one. This is limited to only some emojis which include faces and hand gestures, etc.
Import Animated Stickers
Telegram stickers bot can help you create your own sticker packs. You will be able to import this to Telegram and you can check its usage stats using the bot. Here’s how you can generate new custom stickers and import them to Telegram:
1. Just go to the Telegram sticker bot, select the Create sticker option from the menu.
2. Upload your image file in png format and that’s it.
Your animated sticker will be created and you can then share the link to your pack with others.
