Now you can mute a video before sending it to someone on WhatsApp. Imagine you record a video of something to show someone at work and you do not want the background noise of that place to affect the presentation, so now you can just mute the sound of the video before sending it to someone. WhatsApp recently rolled out this feature for all Android users and here’s how you can also use that to mute video before sending.

Mute Video Before Sending on WhatsApp
The feature is available in the latest version of the app, so make sure to update your WhatsApp from the respective app store. To be noted, the feature is available for Android users as of now and iOS might also get it very soon.
Follow these steps to mute a video before sending:
1. Open WhatsApp and go to that chat to whom you want to send a video.
2. Tap on the attachment icon and select the video from the gallery, you want to send.
3. Now, on the video editing screen, under the video frames, you will see a new speaker icon. Tap on it.
That’s it! Your video will now be muted and you can send it right away. WhatsApp also recently announced a much-awaited feature that now lets a user make WhatsApp calls from a PC.
