- On your Mac, open the Apple menu and click System Preferences.
- On the next screen, click on Security & Privacy.

- Now, select “App Store and identified developers” under Allow apps downloaded from.
- Now, open Finder and go to Applications.
- Here, select Airdroid, right-click on it, and tap Open.
Method 2- Open Anyway
If macOS blocks AirDroid from opening, citing it’s from an unidentified developer, follow the steps below:
- On your Mac, go to System Preferences.
- Head to Security & Privacy > General.
- Here, you’ll see a message that “AirDroid was blocked from use because it’s from an unidentified developer.”
- Just click Open Anyway to override the block.
- If asked, enter your credentials.
- Tap Open when prompted to run or install AirDroid on your Mac.
