Birla Mandir, a gleaming white building that adorns the skyline of modern Hyderabad, is located near the southern end of Hussain Sagar Lake. Birla Mandir History
Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission consecrated the temple in the same year, after nearly a decade of construction. Birla Mandir in Hyderabad is also patronized by the Birla Foundation, which is notable for building similar temples around the country.
